AND THE TITLE OF SOLE SURVIVOR: All my thoughts to go below the fold. Just hoping to type enough here to make it spoiler-proof for the West Coast, because you deserve to see this fresh. (P.S. Avoid Twitter.)

YES! YES! YES! John Cochran wins a unanimous vote, deservedly, by doing exactly what a Survivor jury wants: he owned his decisions, matter-of-factly and without malice. He won a four individual challenges (three immunity) and ran the strategic game, eliminating each threat before each could move on him.

Overall, a solid A-/B+ season, satisfying in the end and with a solid amount of non-Pagonging strategery, but with that truly unpleasant Brandon Hantz stuff in the middle weighing it down. A good cast makes for a good season, and between Cochran, Malcolm, Dawn and the Specialist, this was a good one. Blood v. Water in four months.

  1. We just jumped off the couch and high-fived at that win. Cochran was a fantastic player.

Happy with the outcome; Cochran's a truly deserving winner. And man, that Brenda-Dawn jury interaction was some kind of Holy Shit moment. We were totally with Brenda, right up until the end - not sure if stepping in to stop Dawn BEFORE she pulled her retainer out might have made Brenda the bigger person, or if allowing Dawn to go ahead made Brenda just seem coldly vindictive, or if the way it went down was just the way it had to go down.

Cringing a bit about next season's conceit (though I haven't yet gone down the rabbit hole of online spoilers).

I have seen a list of names. May I post?

Hey, it's your place. And just seeing the names doesn't concern me nearly as much as the boot order spoilers.

The season won't begin filming for another week-ish, so you're definitely in the clear in that regard.

I don't comment, however I looked at a lot of responses here Untitled. I do have a couple of questions for you if it's okay.

Is it simply me or does it look like like a few of the responses appear like
they are left by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting
on additional social sites, I would like to keep up with you.
Would you post a list of every one of all your social community
pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

  9. So how does this work? Is it the ten returnees versus the ten family members, or are they paired up five-families-versus-five-families?

    No idea.

Great season, well-deserved winner. Brenda's move with the teeth was just revolting. I wish Dawn hadn't done it.

I think the way it went down was the way it had to, based on Brenda's last comment: "Don't minimize what I did."

Cringing a LOT about Rupert. And per other sources, possibly Colton instead of Rob C., which is a definite trade down. Don't even remember who Laura was. But, taking it all with a huge grain of salt until they actually start filming and more definitive word filters out.
