I am PSYCHED about this, and I don't know which part makes me happier- the (majority of) the cheftestants, the NYC location, or Anthony Bourdain. YES.

The only cheftestant I really wanted to see that isn't there is Kevin G.   Otherwise, great casting, and I can't believe we get 18 of them! And Bourdain is just a delightful bonus, I'm super super giddy.  Plus, DIBS ON BLAIS!

Hoody hoo!!!  My fiancee had totally lost interest in keeping up with DC, but I know that the returners will lead him back into the fold.  Especially with more Bourdain.

See, I like this comment, but I wanted dibs on Blais.

That's a helluva good cast, cooking-wise.  And as a bonus has some of the best and worst-but-best-for-tv personalities.  Give the casting director a raise!

Blais is the only cheftestant whose restaurant I've eaten at, so I'm not sure if that means I want to dibsy him or not. (Food was good - no, terrific - but it means he's already achieved a certan level of independent success.)

I only started watching this year, but I'm a huge fan of Tiffany, both her food and her personality.  So glad they brought her back.  I could do without Angelo's personality, but almost everything he cooked looked delicious and unusual.  And I love Mike Isabella's food at Zaytinya, and liked Bourdain judging, so I'll sign on for this.
