  1. Pity poor -palooza, for its day has apparently passed.

    And I hate the -gate suffix for scandals. At least a lot of the other ones have some linguistic basis. "-gasm" being meant for things that are pleasurable, "-splaining" coming from explaining, etc. But -gate didn't even mean anything in its original context. How I wish they'd bugged a HoJo's.
