WE'RE JUST PUTTING PIECES TOGETHER: Ten years ago today, I started blogging. (Remember the original design?)
There's not much to say, other than thank you—to my old friends and new who have joined me in writing for this little corner of the web, and to all of you who keep coming back to read and participate. I deeply appreciate the community we've built here, and have no plans on stopping anytime soon.
Happy Blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and here's to many many many more years!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Adam! Happy blogging, and to many more years.
ReplyDeleteSo what was the big "unfortunate news" in sports on 11/17/2002? The link doesn't come up anymore, and checking the Philly.com archive doesn't suggest anything big for that day. (Well, there was Penn beating Harvard 44-9 the day before for the Ivy League championship.)
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteThank you for putting this together -- I have had some amazing experiences with this community, and I'm proud to call myself a Thing Thrower.
ReplyDeleteI always regretted not reading that Kozinski article.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the milestone. Thanks for all your time and effort - you're a pleasure...:)
ReplyDeleteIf this comment shows up three times, envision me throwing my arms up in the air (for some reason, my home computer hates when I comment). I just wanted to express my thanks and say Mazel Tov! I can't tell you how many times I begin a sentence with, "Well, I was reading on my friend's blog _______." Sometimes I actually sound like I know what I'm talking about. Amazing. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThat was the game when Donovan McNabb threw 4 tds on an ankle later revealed to be broken.
ReplyDeleteAh, right.
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything. Adam and everyone else here. My life is much richer-and much more fun- for having this community in it.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I am amused to see that we didnt start out with the no-politics rule.
ReplyDeleteThere weren't comments yet. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember the early days - impressed it's still going - mergers and all.
ReplyDeleteI've had the pleasure of meeting some of the nicest, smartest, funniest, kindest people as a result of this blog. Thank you.
Thanks Adam. Congratulations and Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteA big thank you from me. I can't recall how I first ended up here (probably Sepinwall) but now it's a daily addiction. Huzzah!
ReplyDeleteI still had a Hotmail account when I started reading this blog. That's how I know it's been a long time!
ReplyDeleteAnd also some of the others!
ReplyDeleteBut, isaac, we haven't met yet. *grin*
