SOMETHING TO BE JOYFUL FOR: So you're -G-T winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, writer/star of Broadway's
In the Heights, and you're
getting married. What, pray tell, will you do to make the reception special? This:
Sure beats dancing to a Chris Brown song. (Via

I love this! He is so amazing.
ReplyDeleteI wish he would finish his album about Alexander Hamilton. The first song is so fabulous:

Miranda wouldn't be a bad bet for someone to get to EGOT--In The Heights (which I really need to see) is in development as a film, and I'd guess they'll write a new song for the film, and he was really good in his guest arc on House this year.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fantastic wedding to attend, and they sound like a charming couple.
ReplyDeleteTHAT's where he's from. I knew he looked familiar, but hadn't put it together.
ReplyDeleteOK I sort of love this video
ReplyDeleteHis next project is "Bring it On: The Musical". HELL yes!
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty brilliant. And the bride looked truly surprised. The article about them in the Times was very endearing, as well.
ReplyDeleteThe father of the bride has a wonderful voice! (Although they all need to work on their Jewish "ch" sound.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous video. I agree, Heather - looks like they had a great time with it.
Wow...I'm a straight male and I think I'm in love with him...
ReplyDeleteSo much love for this.
