EVERYONE'S RAPPING LIKE IT'S A COMMERCIAL: You may have noticed in recent weeks the little button added to the "share this post" bar, and if you're like me you had no idea what it meant initially. Apparently, this is all part of the Google+ rollout, and when you click on a +1 (if you're signed into Google) it will improve where that post appears in Google search results and indicate to your friends and Google contacts (through your Plus profile and elsewhere) that this is something worth reading.  So if you like something here, do that. Thanks. More info here.

I'm on Google+ and have already found a bunch of Thing Throwers there. Feel free to look for me...

I, too, have google+ invites so if anyone wants one, lmk. You can DM me on twitter (@jxchu).

I am not convinced of its awesomeness yet, so if there are google+ users that love it, please tell me why.

I don't love it yet, but it's different enough that I'm curious to see how it unfolds as more people get on board. Also, I have one friend using it almost exclusively, and he keeps posting really interesting links, so at least that keeps me coming back.

Even though I work for a tech company I think I am going to be a late adopter on this one I love twitter and have adopted Glen Weldon approach to Facebook using it as a cold storage for friends.

Yeah, I'm on there and am pretty much lurking about and seeing what others do. I do get an inordinate satisfaction to immediately putting someojne in a particular circle when I add them. I know you can make Facebook groups, but I already had too many people on Facebook before I figured that out and it's too big a pain to go change it.

I'm curious as to when companies start creating profiles on there instead of individuals, and start using it for promotions and such -- if it provides different opportunities or options for that kind of thing. But twitter is still my favorite.
