POTTER, MORE: The latest from our recombinant culture: Hot Neville, Draco, and Ron attempt to sound American and sing "Party in the U.S.A." (more Hot Neville here); the top ten noncanonical HP 'shipper pairs; the Death Eaters' "Monster" cover; The Fresno (AAA) Grizzlies' HP-themed uniforms; and, finally, the not-at-all-inevitable Book of Mormon/Harry Potter mashup.
added: Harry Potter graffiti. 43 Harry Potter-themed cakes.
I feel creepy about how handsome I find grown-up Neville. Who knew???
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Book of Mormon/HP mash-up is especially impressive considering one girl did the whole thing! Well done.
The more times I watch the Potter/Mormon video, the more I appreciate it. It's the DETAILS. Ron's bent wand, Hagrid's umbrella, the references to Radcliffe's Broadway work (I didn't even see the horse until the fourth time I watched it). Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing. The attention to detail is amazing even by HP fandom standards. She didn't waste a single lyric or frame. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteSnape, Snape, Severus Snape, Snape, Snape.
Now I can't NOT see Harry stabbing the horse doll.
ReplyDeleteI very much enjoyed the HP/Book of Mormon mashup. The fiancé seemed less certain.
ReplyDelete"Read this book -- not Twilight -- you will be ok"
ReplyDeleteNeville Longbottom has a posse.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed that "Hermione" gets a haircut late in the game.
ReplyDeleteI really liked all the goofy stuff Luna Lovegood is doing on the side there, like reading the HP book upside-down.
