I'm still going to read the weekly posts and maybe comment every once in a while, but I must confess that my wife and I got quickly addicted and are now almost done with Season 2. Whoops!
I just watched last night! I'm ready now! Wait, I'm not. I didn't take notes. I just watched. And then my internet crapped out in the middle, and there was drama.
I'm trying really hard to go slowly, but I had to return the first DVDs today and thus am up to ep 5. Am (I hope) capable of only discussing up to ep 3.
It will be amusing to see you try to stick to one episode a week for the last 3 or 4 episodes of each season, when (my experience is) everybody immediately races to the next episode. What percentage of people are not going to be ahead? 10%?
For me, so far, I've been on schedule. Haven't skipped ahead, but the wife really won't be into this, so watching at odd times. Not marathoning like I normally would.
I prefer the one week one episode pace. I know there will be times I'm ahead, but there are also times when I, and I'm sure others, won't have time for more than one episode a week, so it all evens out.
I, for one, would prefer 2 a week, but am expecting that I'll just end up watching ahead until I finish a season (such is the problem with taking highly demanded DVDs out of the library - I have each DVD for 7-14 days, and there are 4-5 episodes per case). Then I'll start the new season on schedule.

ReplyDeleteScott - we have done the same thing! Can't get the DVDs from Netflix fast enough.
ReplyDeleteCaught up from last week and ready for tomorrow. Netflix is keeping me from watching more than three in a row.

ReplyDeleteDo we need to speed up the pace?
ReplyDeleteI like that it's a year project - and that I can't really fall that far behind. I wasn't caught up for last week but now I'm good.

ReplyDeleteAgree with Martha. Thanks to the federal holiday, I was able to catch up this week, but did not have time for one last week.
ReplyDelete2 episodes into Season 3. Out lack of willpower is impressive.
