Andy's a bud, but the fact that he hasn't watched "On Freddie Roach" and I'm pretty sure he hasn't watched "Witness" leaves me with a concern that he's taking the exact same restrictive view of "reality TV" that he always tells other people not to take. There was a TON of terrific unscripted TV in 2012 and is appearing on very few lists. And that makes me sad...
Your talking up On Freddie Roach in the best of the year podcast means I'm definitely going to give it a try. I'd forgotten it since it was on in February and it seems like no one else has been talking about it at all.

ReplyDeleteI'm gonna MAKE the world watch "On Freddie Roach" if it kills me. And by "the world," I'd be satisfied with five or 10 people.
ReplyDeleteAnd nobody's talking about it because nobody watched it. HBO succeeds in pimping so much, but they failed entirely on that one...
