Did anyone else find it strange that they ended the trailer on that "No mean Yes"
I'm still seeing this, but it is a little troubling that we don't get to anything that might be considered a joke until 45 seconds into the trailer and that the first joke is an (admittedly funny and well executed) fart joke. (That said, the group rendition of "Cups" sounds lovely.)Also, revealed in the EW article? Songs include "Before He Cheats" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Allow me to take this opportunity to remind you all that the ICCA is real, and events are happening all over the country. www.varsityvocals.com for more details. Also, if you're in New York, come to ICCA Finals on April 18 at the Beacon. We'll have a party.
Yeah I am totally still seeing this. True confession I often dial up on You Tube the singing clips when I am at work and need cheering up.
Yep. I'm gonna go with "didn't think it through," but...ugh.
Given that Banks in particular has been outspoken on these sorts of issues, it's kind of surprising. Remember that the first trailer for PP ended with the Amy/Bumper "sometimes I think I should do meth" exchange, and I'd bet they wanted to end it similarly.
Yup, same reaction.
Jan 24, quarterfinals at UChicago. Who's with me?
Saray, I'll be there at the finals! Loved it last year.
Yay Sue! I'll be the Sara on stage at the end holding the trophies. I'll also be the Sara backstage all day yelling at college kids. ;)
