I had many of the same childhood and adolescent experiences as the author at the Gallery-- getting a picture of Santa between visits to the Dickens Village and the Lits Village, going to the food court with my friends after school. But I can not get nostalgic for the Gallery. I've avoided it like the plague for at least 10 years and only gone when absolutely necessary. I went to Hallmark there this December because the other two Hallmark stores I went to were out of the "Godchild" ornament. Other than that, I can't remember the last time I was there not on my way to the train.
