THERE ARE THESE OASES, AND LIFE IS HORRIBLE, BUT IT IS NOT RELENTLESSLY BLACK FROM WIRE TO WIRE: Woody Allen talks with a Brooklyn priest about the nature of the universe, and (among other things) reveals which character from Crimes and Misdemeanors shares a worldview closest to his own.

That was actually an interesting insight to my view of Woody Allen.  I can't understand how anyone can view the universe that negatively and bother to do anything.  What an awful life he must have.

Fascinating. Most interesting interview of the Woodster I've ever read. Much of his views expressed herein are mirrored by the narrator in Peter DeVries' "The Blood of the Lamb," which I happen to be reading at the moment and is the saddest book I've read in a long time

Thanks Adam, If it wasn't black from wire to wire before, it feels that way after reading that.  I kind of remember when Woody Allen was funny.  Whatever happened to robot dogs pooping batteries?

now its back. I think it depends on whether a blogger window pops up when you hit comments. When it does, its there- its the way I posted the comment.

No biggie, just wanted to make sure I didnt force a deletion with something I said.
