SHUT THE F--- UP. LET ME DIE IN PEACE: Tara Ariano wishes that the Emmys Necrology segment also recognized the tv characters who died since the last awards ceremony, and has a list of the dearly departed.
Sounds like there will be five solo tributes -- Jane Lynch for Monteith, Michael J Fox for Gary David Goldberg, Will they do them all in one group, or spread the maudlin around? etc. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24124111
Hopefully, Neil Patrick Harris will sing about them in a jaunty, laugh-filled number to open the show.
(Just recently and very belatedly finished one show referred to in Tara's piece, and thank goodness, because the death in the last minutes was still somehow unspoilered for me and so much worse/better because it was a shock.)
"Dr. Skinshade, American Horror Story"
ReplyDeleteYet another reason I'm sad I missed season 2, just for a name like that.
Also, seriously, we are getting a separate Cory Monteith tribute? Really? Obviously, his loss is sad, but really?

I (of course) like your tag line, but, FWIW, that character died more than a month before the 2012 Emmys aired.
ReplyDeleteShut the f--- up. Let him joke in peace.
ReplyDelete(That's me liking it.)
